Everyday - DT layout for Paige Evans + Silhouette

Hi there crafty friends,

I'm back today with a new layout I created for the Paige Evans + Silhouette Design Team.

I chose the "Flower 12 Petals" cut file (ID #216690) and the Turn the Page collection for this one.

I went with a very simple design and blew up my cut file, something I do very often. Then I cut the flower from white textured card stock. I was a little bit stuck at this point because I had no idea how to back this file! I didn't know if I should back every single little piece with different patterned papers or do something else.

In the end I decided to use only 3 different papers and back the biggest petals. Now this was a bit tricky because after a while the petals should be tucked under the previously attached ones. Not sure if there's an easier way, but probably ha! I generally over complicate things!

Once done, I adhered the cut file to the background paper with the help of foam adhesive. I like dimension on my layouts! I glued down my photo and added some embellishments around it: fussy cut and wood veneer flowers and some pieces from the ephemera pack. I created my title using a die cut and a sticker from the sticker sheet.

I wrote my journaling on one of the journaling spots and attached it to the left bottom side of my page. As a final step I added some blue ink spatters.

I hope you like how this turned out!

Thank you for stopping by today!

Until next time,
